Coffee in the lobby at 32 West 40th
We're in the lobby at 32 West 40th Street, right next to Lady M and by Bryant Park. Come in off the sidewalk for a cup of coffee and something from the pastry case.
A bright spot off Bryant Park
Walk in and you'll find a clean, bright room with a marble counter and seats if you want to sit a minute. It's an easy stop when you're out walking around Midtown.
The coffee
We pour Onyx Coffee, which one guest told us isn't easy to find in New York. We do latte art too, and we make matcha lattes with Kettl matcha.
The croissants
Get the extra large croissant. It's big enough to share, and plenty of people bring the kids for it.
Ice cream, too
We scoop Van Leeuwen ice cream, and honeycomb and pistachio are both worth a try. If you want coffee and dessert in one cup, ask for an affogato.
